Infused Water: Tips for Flavored Water

Tap water boring? Not at all! We'll show you three quick infused water recipes that are simple, refreshing, and healthy. Infused water is prepared in just a few seconds and so delicious that you'll automatically drink more – perfect for summer!

Refreshing and varied: homemade infused water

Summer is here! And as temperatures rise, it's important to drink enough. Reaching for your soulbottle drinking bottle quenches your thirst , but admittedly: Pure tap water is not a taste explosion. We should drink around two to three liters a day, because water Increases your concentration, helps the body detoxify and makes you more alert than coffee. With a few slices of juicy fruit or vegetables and fresh herbs, you can easily make healthy, delicious drinks from tap water. Infused water—or flavored water, for that matter—is a great and healthy way to make drinking from your soulbottle more enjoyable, colorful, and varied!

Flavored water – prepared in seconds

For the infused water recipes, you simply fill a clean soulbottle with a handful of your favorite ingredients, pour tap water over them, and let them steep in the refrigerator for a few hours. Anything that tastes good goes! Popular ingredients include lemon, ginger, cucumber, rosemary, mint, and strawberries. We recommend choosing seasonal and regional ingredients, as well as organic ones, whenever possible.

Our three favorite infused water recipes bring delicious variety to your tap water. The beautiful 1.0l drinking bottles are particularly suitable for this, because our creations are so delicious that you probably won't be able to get enough of them!

Recipe 1: Cucumber and basil

  1. Peel about 5 to 7 cucumber strips lengthwise or crosswise from the cucumber using a vegetable peeler, so they fit perfectly into the bottle neck opening.

  2. Crush the basil a little in your hand to release its essential oils and make it taste more intense.

  3. Pour over tap water and enjoy.

Pro tip: If you want a more intense basil flavor, you can dab the edge of the bottle neck with a little crushed basil.

Recipe 2: Berries and Pomegranate

  1. Choose a favorite type of berry or simply a berry mix, even from the freezer.

  2. Add pomegranate seeds.

  3. Add sage or place as decoration.

  4. All that’s missing is tap water, done!

Pro tip : If you like your infused water even more colorful, you can also crush the berries a little. This creates vibrant colors in your soulbottle and releases the berry aromas. We also infused our berry pomegranate water with a little rhubarb juice. This adds an additional tangy note.

Recipe 3: rosemary and grapefruit

  1. Cut the grapefruit into about 3-4 thin slices, then they fit perfectly into the bottle neck opening.

  2. Add 3 medium-sized rosemary sprigs.

  3. Turn on the tap and fill with water.

Pro tip: If you want to add some extra color to your infused water, you can squeeze a sip of fresh grapefruit juice from the other grapefruit half and pour it into the soulbottle.

Bonus: refreshing chai drinks

In winter we have our absolute favorite recipe for homemade chai syrup explained. You can unpack that again now, too! Because with ice-cold tap water, a squeeze of lemon, or alternatively, a shot of espresso, ice cubes, and oat milk, the chai syrup also works incredibly well in cold spring drinks. Give it a try!

and otherwise?

I'm now heading to the kitchen to fill up my soulbottle before heading into the next video call with grapefruit water. But first, one last pro tip for real professionals: Glass straws! Besides drinking, they're also perfect for making quirky bubbling noises and striking casual hipster poses during those video calls. Or our beautiful stainless steel drinking cups . Perfect for on the go, too.
