drink clean drinking water everywhere with the soulfilter

Goodbye plastic bottles and hello soulfilter! Do you long to be able to drink clean drinking water from your soulbottle even in the deepest jungle? Or do you simply prefer filtered tap water? We'll show you everything you need to know about our brand-new soulfilter water filter here.

In many regions of the world, drinking tap water is unsafe for health reasons. Or let's be honest: sometimes the tap water simply tastes of chlorine due to the heavy purification process. You may already know this from your travels or remote work – buying bottled water in plastic bottles is essential there, no matter how much it pains your soul. Until now!

Together with the experts from FAIRCAP We've developed a solution for this and are delighted to make it easier to do without plastic bottles. Yay!
Faircap has many years of experience in developing and distributing water filters and has several products on the market. Like us, it is a social enterprise and is also committed to providing access to clean drinking water. Faircap donates €1 for each filter purchased to NGOs that primarily distribute Faircap family-size filters in developing countries.

Our soul filter is a kind of “straw” that can be inserted into any Soulbottle water bottles from 0.6 l fit. This way, you'll always have filtered and clean water within easy reach – no matter where you are on the planet!

what's so great about the soul filter?

Well, quite a few! Firstly, our soulfilter is not only super user-friendly, but also complements your soulmate in all sorts of ways:

  1. High filter performance: Our soulfilter can filter out 99.99% of all bacteria and even 99.9% of all viruses! (99.9% in tap water and 99% in natural water). This includes microplastics up to 1.5 micrometers in size, mud, and fine dust. The soulfilter also neutralizes the taste of chlorinated tap water. Cheers!
  2. Stable service life: The filter should be replaced after every 300 liters of tap water or 150 liters of natural water, giving you almost 6 or 3 months of filtered drinking water, respectively, based on an average daily amount of 1.5 liters. Stable!
  3. Less plastic: You use 300 times more plastic with water from plastic bottles than with our soulfilter. Want concrete figures? Here they are: 300 liters of clean drinking water requires 200 1.5-liter PET bottles. That's about 6 kg of plastic, comparable to the weight of a house cat. Quite a lot, isn't it? For the same amount of clean drinking water, the soulfilter cartridge, on the other hand, has a 100% recycled plastic content of only about 20 g, which is equivalent to the weight of a standard letter. Furthermore, the cartridge can be recycled at any time with the plastic waste.
  4. Interchangeable: If the water flow decreases or the taste and smell of the water changes, the filter tells you that it needs to be replaced. Get our soulfilter here. Replacement cartridge .

And the best part: if things get really critical, thanks to the high filter performance, you can even filter and drink puddle water. What? You're probably wondering: huh, how is that even possible? We'll show you: Clear the stage for our soul filter!

How does the soul filter work?

Our filter consists of a very fine-pored (1.2-1.5 micrometers) tissue through which your water is sucked. For filtering purposes, organisms are classified by size, with viruses being the smallest at 0.05 micrometers, bacteria at 0.5 micrometers, and parasites at 5 micrometers. Now you might think: Why are viruses and bacteria filtered if they are smaller than the pore opening of our filters? This is because the filter we use has a very innovative technology used. Namely the electrostatic adsorption . Huh?!
Due to the crystalline structure in the filter medium (Tissue) that generates a strong positive charge, viruses and bacteria are adsorbed. Because they have a negative charge. Aha!

Wait a minute – what does the soul filter actually consist of?

The soulfilter consists of the following components: mouthpiece, hose, and filter unit. You can reuse the mouthpiece and hose over and over again; only the filter unit needs to be replaced regularly.

The mouthpiece with the hose consists of Silicone , which is made from silicon (quartz sand) and synthetic polymers. Due to its material properties, silicone is very robust and therefore extremely durable - your mouthpiece will therefore last for a long time. It also no microplastics free and petroleum is not used in production.

The filter shell consists of 100% recycled plastic, which was originally used as packaging in medicine. Used only once, it therefore has perfect properties. It is Free from harmful substances and safe for contact with food . If you're wondering: Plastic and soulbottles? We always strive to take the most sustainable approach, and with the help of the soulfilter, a large amount of single-use plastic can be saved. The use of recycled polypropylene (PP) also turns waste into something useful! Did you pay close attention above and note how much single-use plastic you save per filter?
